The Vuse train has docked in Zambia and Zimbabwe!
The two markets officially launched the Vuse Go 500
puff variant on the 16th and 20th of October 2023,
respecঞvely, at a spectacular launch event a�ended
by our key business partners and industry peers,
traders, and BAT employees in both markets.
During the launches, a�endees got an opportunity to
learn more about BAT's ambiঞon to reduce the
health impact of our business, as well as key aspects
such as our efforts towards the prevenঞon of
underage access (PUA). The arrival of Vuse in
Zimbabwe and Zambia is a key milestone in BAT's
journey to build A Be�er Tomorrow. The two
markets became the 3rd and 4th markets
respecঞvely, with introducing Vuse in SSA.
Three Vuse flavours will be available in both markets,
namely: Blueberry Ice, Watermelon Ice and Mango
Ice.

At an engaging event a�ended by various stakeholders including
regulatory, business representaঞves and media, the long-awaited BAT
Kenya 2022 Sustainability Report was unveiled in pomp and colour.
This Report is the first to be published by the Company in line with
global reporঞng framework (GRI) and local statutory guidelines.
The sustainability report emphasises our unwavering commitment to
reducing the health impact of our business, alongside reporঞng
performance on our environment, social and governance (ESG)
prioriঞes, in line with the Group's ESG agenda and roadmap as well as
the UN Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs)!
Some Performance highlights include the reducঞon of scope 1 and 2
carbon emissions by 33% (against a 2020 baseline), investment of about
KShs 145 million in solar energy and issuance of 15 tons of cerঞfied
maize seeds to our contracted farmers to drive crop diversificaঞon and
food security. Furthermore, the representaঞon of women in the
organisaঞon was at 44%, and we achieved 100% a�estaঞon to the BAT
Group Standards of Business Conduct by our People.
